A great step towards transparency, traceability and customer engagement

Overview

Acne Studios, a multidisciplinary luxury fashion house based in Stockholm, Sweden, has been proudly operating with a diverse range of sustainability commitments. Now, they have partnered with Temera to take an even greater step towards enhancing product transparency, traceability, all while adding a new customer engagement capability that highlights their commitment to social responsibility and B Corp certification.  

With the need to comply with the French AGEC Laws, while also preparing for upcoming EU regulations on Digital Product Passports (DPPs), Acne Studies have connected their products to meet the growing demand for sustainability and supply chain visibility. This is achieved by implementing seamless new QR code solution on the product tag, to provide consumers with comprehensive product and sustainability information.  

From July 2025, all products from Acne Studios’ FW25 collection onwards will feature a QR code, strategically placed on care labels and care cards, allowing customers to instantly access each product’s DPP.  

How the Partnership Works

Acne Studios has partnered with Temera to implement F/W 2025’s Digital Product Passports supported by Blue Bite’s front-end Experience Studio interface, and underpinned by traceability solution providing information about product lifecycle – including sustainability credentials, supply chain information, product traceability, and end of life recommendations.  

Now life, this initiative positions Acne Studios ahead of expected EU regulatory requirements, furthers their well-regarded commitment to sustainable business practices, and strengthens trust and engagement with consumers. 

Project Goals

  • Full Visibility: Provide a solution that ensures complete transparency on raw materials, composition, and certifications.
  • Supply Chain Traceability: Supports traceability visibility across the supply chain (through PLM).
  • User Experience: Deliver a user-friendly digital experience that allows consumers to instantly retrieve verified product data. 

The Solution

To address these challenges, Temera provided a sophisticated and comprehensive traceability solution for the DPP, that provides comprehensive visibility into product composition, and sustainability certifications such as Acne Studios’ B Corp Certification. The system ensures compliance with regulatory standards while also enhancing transparency across the supply chain. 

At a product level, traceability was achieved by implementing QR code integration for 14 products, including Ready-to-Wear, Shoes, and Leather Goods, allowing consumers to instantly access verified product information by scanning a QR code embedded in each item.  

The DPPs provide verified information on the specific product’s raw materials, sustainability credentials, supply chain information, product traceability and care, collected through Temera’s sophisticated traceability suite. The DPPs, available in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Traditional Chinese, also include details on packaging as well as information on social responsibility and B Corp certification.
