Temera re-invents the Summer in Lugano

Smart city wins against Covid with the new online booking Platform to respect the social distancing.

From June, the 18, Lugano is equipped with a new and special technological solution prenota.lugano.ch.
The web tool allows to citizens and tourists to have safe access to public spaces, including beaches and bathing facilities, museums and events planned for the whole summer by the Department of Culture, Sport, Events, avoiding the risks of gathering and maintain the rules of social distancing.

An interdisciplinary team has created in record time an innovative platform, unique in its kind available to the citizens that meets the needs of the Department of Culture, Sports, Events comply with the rules of conduct and management gatherings decided by the Federal Council.

This solution will allow an easy reading of the offers that can be booked daily and a safe and controlled access to both the bathing establishments of the City and the exhibitions planned at the Museum of Cultures, LAC and events on reservation scheduled for the Longlake Festival 2020. The best technologies at the service of citizens, with the PrenotaLugano platform, has started a process of technological innovation to be made available to citizens and tourists in the area.

Being able to book the different services online, for example, will be a significant advantage to avoid bringing credit cards or cash with you, access to the availability of services from the comfort of home, respecting the regulations in force and knowing in advance the availability of the different structures.

The platform, navigable from both computers and mobile phones or tablets, will soon be released in the form of an application and takes advantage of all the most innovative and secure technologies currently available on the market and it will include an innovative use of Blockchain for the security and reliability of the service for thousand of users.
