Temera’s End-to-End Traceability Solution Enables Acne Studios to Launch Sustainability Focused DPP
- As part of Acne Studios’ ongoing commitment to sustainability, the DPPs will span a diverse range of product categories from FW25 collection onwards.
- Customers will be able to interact with each DPP via QR Code to access verified information on raw materials, sustainability credentials, supply chain information, product traceability and care.
Temera, a Beontag company that is one of the world’s leading product traceability and serialization companies for the fashion and luxury markets, proudly announces its partnership with the renowned Swedish fashion house, Acne Studios, to bring expanded traceability capabilities to the B Corp certified brand. This collaboration launches with the development of an innovative Digital Product Passport (DPP) system, which has gone live for various product categories.
Leveraging Temera’s world-class traceability suite of solutions, supported by Blue Bite’s front-end DPP Experience Studio interface, Acne Studios is taking a significant step towards enhanced product transparency and sustainability to comply with the French legislation AGEC as well as preparing for upcoming EU regulations on DPPs.
At the time of launch, all products from Acne Studios’ FW25 collection onwards will feature a QR code, strategically placed on care labels and care cards, allowing customers to instantly access each product’s DPP. The DPPs will provide verified information on the specific product’s raw materials, sustainability credentials, supply chain information, product traceability and care, collected through Temera’s sophisticated traceability suite. The DPPs, available in English, French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Traditional Chinese, also include details on packaging as well as information on social responsibility and B Corp certification.
The implementation of DPPs will help to establish new traceability and transparent standards for brands and customers in the fashion industry. As a result of this pioneering project, Acne Studios’ customers will benefit from an even deeper insight into each product’s lifecycle, ensuring transparency and promoting a more responsible consumer experience.
Commenting on the partnership, Francesco Pieri, Managing Director & Co-Founder of Temera said, “We are always excited to work with an ambitious and sustainability-focused brand, like Acne Studios. Since the start of our discussions, they appreciated the advantage and importance of getting ahead of upcoming regulations – as well as the potential to strengthen customer trust through DPPs. I’m looking forward to seeing this partnership develop with new and innovative solutions along the way.”
As DPPs become an industry standard, Temera and Acne Studios remain dedicated to innovation, ensuring luxury brands remain at the forefront of traceability, and customer engagement. By leveraging technology to enhance product visibility, this collaboration sets a new benchmark for sustainability and transparency in the fashion industry.
