What is EUDR?
The EUDR is a European regulation aimed at combating global deforestation linked to the production of raw materials such as wood, cocoa, coffee, rubber, soy, palm oil, and cattle. Companies placing products derived from these materials on the EU market must demonstrate that:
-
They do not originate from areas deforested after 2020.
-
They comply with the local laws of the country of origin.
-
They are accompanied by a due diligence statement.
Starting from December 30, 2025, businesses will be required to ensure geographical traceability of raw materials and provide documented evidence of compliance.
