The DNA of Geospirit emerges from the Brand of the same name: Geo Spirit, the spirit of the Earth.

Having become famous in the 1990s with the first recyclable jacket, today the Tuscan brand presents a new concept of outerwear linked to 360° eco-sustainability. This is how an entirely fur-free collection, using synthetic or recycled down, takes shape, where each development phase, from design, to production, to packaging is designed to combine the outerwear item’s needs for comfort, function and style with a responsible use of environmental resources. On some models, the use of recycled and reclaimed materials reaches 100% and this does not only involve fabrics and padding but also accessories such as zips, hangers and protective bags.

As further proof of a commitment to environmental sustainability, and with a view to transparency towards the end consumer, Geospirit has decided to adopt the Virgo solution, equipping its garments with an NFC tag integrated in the logo affixed to the item’s sleeve.

Interacting through a smartphone, the authenticity of the purchased item can be confirmed, the materials used in its construction can be seen and the benefits for the environment from having selected the garment can be reviewed.    

“You are what you wear” is the slogan with which the Brand, which is part of the Peuterey Group, declares its commitment to its customers. A direct way to take the front line in the battle to save the planet    

The declaration of the various materials used in the production of the jackets covered by the project is certified through the “Verified by Virgo” mechanism which guarantees the greatest level of security and transparency.

For Geospirit, the project has meant reaching an important intersection between technology and heritage of a brand built on the philosophy of respecting nature, living and sharing the “spirit of the Earth”.
