Poltrona Frau, the Italian high-end furniture brand established in 1912 and the first company in the Haworth Lifestyle Group to adopt the Digital Product Passport, chose Temera and Aura Blockchain Consortium to build the operational technology layer for its DPP, launched on two of its most iconic collections: Vanity Fair and Archibald. 

The Challenge 

Poltrona Frau wanted to make tangible the values that have always defined the brand: authenticity, artisanal quality, and supply chain transparency. The goal was to turn these commitments into a verifiable digital experience for the end customer, while proactively addressing the requirements of the European ESPR Regulation, which will extend the DPP obligation to the Home Furniture sector by 2030.

The Solution 

Temera provided the operational technology layer through two integrated components. T.journey manages product information and orchestrates the customer's digital experience, from collection storytelling and supply chain data to sustainability, care and maintenance, through to the data transmitted to Aura Blockchain Consortium for blockchain certification. A dedicated mobile web app enables operators to manage NFC crypto tag associations in production and aftersales workflows via smartphone, with no dedicated hardware required.

The frontend and blockchain layer were developed by Aura Blockchain Consortium, with T.journey integrating seamlessly to ensure data consistency and full decoupling from the brand's business-critical systems.

The Result 

Every Vanity Fair and Archibald product now carries a unique, certified digital identity accessible with a single NFC tap. Customers can claim product ownership, access editorial content, supply chain information, and aftersales services. The brand gains a unified product data hub that enriches the lifecycle of each piece and feeds the CRM with meaningful data.
