Temera in Florence 2025

‘End-to-End Traceability: A New Era of Transparency, Circularity, Brand Reputation and Supply Chain Management’

15/07/2025

On 26 June, Temera proudly welcomed leading voices from across the fashion and luxury industry for the 14th edition of its annual event – a two-day gathering dedicated to dialogue that will shape the future of traceability and sustainability in our industry.

This year’s theme, ‘End-to-End Traceability: A New Era of Transparency, Circularity, Brand Reputation and Supply Chain Management’, set the blueprint for a full exploration of the luxury supply chain. Beginning with a snapshot of the current market context, before moving through the challenges of traceability and circularity across a range of products and segments, the discussions culminated in an insightful look at the digital ecosystems and innovative technologies that are reshaping how brands operate, collaborate, and grow in this new operating environment.

With contributions from industry leaders, innovators, and strategic partners, our 2025 event provided a clear view of the many transformations underway – as well as the collective effort needed to build a more transparent, sustainable, and data-driven future for luxury.

The opening panel tilted ‘Strategic Crossroads: How the Luxury Sector is Rethinking Growth’ explored how luxury brands are adapting to shifting consumer expectations, generational change, and macroeconomic headwinds.

The conversation, moderated by Temera Founder Arcangelo D’Onofrio, brought together a distinguished panel of industry leaders, namely: Micaela Le Divelec Lemmi (Porsche, DeLonghi Group, Ethicarei), Raffaello Napoleone (CEO of Pitti Immagine), Roberto Massardi (Chief Business Development Officer at Prada Group) and Massimo Paloni (CEO of Brandart).

The lively discussion emphasised the need for innovation that preserves brand identity while embracing cross-functional agility. Traceability was positioned not just as a compliance tool, but a strategic asset that underpins trust and long-term growth.

The second panel tackled the commercial reality of circularity - how to make sustainability goals operationally and financially viable. Moderated by the day’s on-stage host, Marc Sondermann, the session brought together Justin Pariag (Chief Sustainability Officer at Global Fashion Agenda), Dharmini Chauhan (COO of Mulberry), Daniela Ott (circular fashion and resale consultant), and Maria Fernanda Hernandez Franco (Sustainability Director at Temera) for a truly holistic view of the challenge.

In this discussion, it was made clear that traceability and authentication enable scalable circular models, while also managing the tension between business volume and product longevity. The conclusion: alignment across regulation, strategy, and consumer experience is essential.

The final panel, moderated again by Marc Sondermann, shifted to the theme of infrastructure and the need for ecosystem-wide collaboration. Featuring Cristiano Busetto (Head of Blockchain at OTB Group and Board Member of the Aura Blockchain Consortium), Alexandra Lupas (Corporate Projects Director at Prada Group and Board Member of the Aura Blockchain Consortium), Pierre Muller (RFID Business Unit Manager at EM Microelectronic and Board Member of the RAIN Alliance), and Davide Giunta (Sales Director at Temera), the stage truly represented the collaborative effort required between brands, for us all to help raise industry standards.

Here, discussions centred on the importance of data-sharing, interoperable standards, and supplier engagement in building traceable and circular supply chains. The session underscored that collective infrastructure, not individual solutions, will define the next chapter of luxury.

Looking Ahead: Innovation with Purpose

Finally, a keynote from Dipti Vachani, closed the conference with a macro vision of how AI and edge computing can support smarter, more sustainable systems. As the sun set on a truly engaging day, her messages aligned with Temera’s core belief: that purposeful technology is key to building resilient, future-ready supply chains.

Thanks to our parent company, Beontag, our institutional partner Aura Blockchain Consortium, and our official event partners Honeywell, EM Microelectronic, DILS srl, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, TD SYNNEX, Meet ALPHA, and Deep s.r.l. for making this event possible.

Temera Event 2025 reaffirmed a shared commitment to building a more transparent, collaborative, and circular luxury sector - with traceability at its core.
